SUNAGO “to gather together…”
New album coming this year…
We’ve been in the studio on and off for the past two years and have realized that making a quality product in our “spare time” takes a lot longer than we thought! Our philosophy is, anything good is worth waiting for! We hope to have it completed before the end of the year. Click the Listen Now button below for a little taste…

BAND MEMBERS
Much like my children, (Missy & Bekah) I’ve been playing music my whole life! I was a worship pastor for the better part of 20 years. Covid changed all that! After being separated from loved ones, we decided to put this band together to bring joy back into our lives and the lives of others. Our very name, “Sunago” means “To gather together those who were once separated, to hospitably entertain…” A unique thing about Sunago is, nobody gets paid! All the money we raise goes to our family’s Nonprofit organization Warm Blankets Inc in order to serve those experiencing deep grief due to traumatic loss. This is our purpose, this is why we sing! ⁓ Jim

~I’ve been playing music my whole life… it’s truly in my blood. God has made it clear to me, that my purpose on this Earth is to share my gift of music with the world, in the form of worship, songwriting, and being a light in a dark world. The fact, I get to do it alongside my dear family and friends, is the cherry on top! These are my people! This Band has strengthened me as a musician. I’ve learned new songs, written new songs, played new venues and learned new instruments. Come, Gather Together, dance and sing to some good tunes with me and my fam! ~Bekah
MISSY DURHAM
Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started on acoustic guitar, and singing has always been second nature to me, but by the time I was 11, I found my true voice in the bass. My playing style is deeply rooted in the music I grew up on, thanks to my dad’s influence. We grew up listening to the good stuff, which is reflected in our repertoire! Being a part of The Band Sunago has been an incredible blessing, not just as a musician but as a way to inspire my daughter—showing her that with passion and dedication, she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. ⁓Missy
SCOTT MORRISON
Drumming has been in my family for years, both my father and brother were drummers. I remember playing with friends while my dad rehearsed with his band. For me, I’ve always gravitated more towards rudimental drumming than on a kit, but was asked to play worship for my church. I hadn’t sat behind a kit in almost 30 years, but fell in love with it. This is where I met Jim, Bekah, and Missy and became part of the family. When Jim asked if I wanted to drum for Sunago, I answered yes before he could even finish the question. Oh I still keep the rudimental side alive by instructing at a local high school, but it has been a true joy and a blessing to play with Sunago! ~Scott

This was actually my idea!
I saw the talent and the joy that each of the band members had to share together. They agreed and Sunago was born!
I get to enjoy encouraging and supporting them whether it’s providing snacks, capturing photos and video, enjoying grandma duties or jumping in on tambourine. You might say, I’m the band Mom. ~Jennifer
SUNAGO
Sunago: Greek for “To gather together”
Sunago is a band of musicians whose ambition is to bring an element of joy to people's lives through music and lyric. The very meaning of the name Sunago encompasses the definition: “to bring together those who were once separated, to hospitably entertain.” In a world filled with political and pandemic division, our goal is to bring people together to enjoy an evening filled with inspirational music and positive lyrics. Our purpose is to fund a much bigger vision and mission of the non profit Warm Blankets through the generous hearts of those who give to Sunago.
